Throughout this trip, we’ve been tracking our daily distance and elevation gain. Now, we’ve finally got round to posting the data on this site. To put it mildly, it’ll be of scant interest to the majority of our readers, which is to say those of you not currently touring or planning a tour through Latin America. However, it may prove useful to fellow cyclists struggling with the dismal quality of mapping throughout much of the continent; certainly, we’ve found Irene Bosma and Alle Veenstra’s detailed numbers and GPX tracks to be helpful when planning our own route. Interested parties can download the data as PDFs, one for each country, from the links scattered throughout this page.
